Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions run alongside and are equal to the dive club membership terms and conditions and any padi forms you may be asked to fill in. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

DIVE COURSES AND DIVE TRIPS

A minimum of 4 weeks' notice is required for any change in dates on courses, otherwise, full payment for your course will be lost or you will be liable for the full course fee.
A full refund on courses will only be given if a reasonable excuse (personal medical issue, family illness, or death,) for not attending can be given. In terms of medical issues, a PADI medical form signed by your GP or a specialist scuba diving doctor will be required.
Any change in course dates will result in an administration fee for each and every change made and unless otherwise agreed. 
If open-ended dates have been selected for this course; the course dates must be booked within 12 months from the date of invoice. Refunds are not due on open-ended course dates after 28 days from the date of invoice.
If the weather or any other circumstance beyond the control of UNDERWATER ADVENTURES cause the course to be delayed, changed, or canceled, no liability can be accepted by UNDERWATER AVENTURES for consequential loss, damage, or expense incurred.
Candidates using equipment loaned to them by UNDERWATER ADVENTURES and/or its instructors are financially liable for the cost of a new replacement item(s) if the mentioned items are not returned in the same condition as they were borrowed or if they are lost.
Candidates using their own diving equipment must inform the course instructor who will decide if it is suitable.
UNDERWATER ADVENTURES or its employees cannot be held responsible for damage to equipment or injury caused by the candidate's own negligence or otherwise.
A special offer will run for 7 days from the date of the offer unless otherwise stated. the try scuba diving discount on the full open water course will run for a maximum of 7 days from the try scuba diving/discover scuba diving session and is only valid for the full PADI open water course, no other courses unless offered by the owner of underwater adventures.

When you sign on to a course

I understand reasonable time will be allocated to my training however if additional training is required to reach my certification level I understand that I will be financially liable for this additional instruction.
I understand that the course fee will cover everything for the course apart from any dive site entry fees.
I understand that my course is performance-based and that if I do not reach a standard considered acceptable to my instructors I will fail my course and will still be liable for the full course fee. If I wish to repeat the course I will have to pay the full course fee again unless otherwise agreed.
I understand that if not enough participants are found for my course, the dates may be changed. UNDERWATER ADVENTURES will not be held responsible for any additional expense this may cause.
I understand that my course may be re-scheduled without a refund of the deposit if knowledge reviews are not completed prior to the course start date and that any re-scheduled courses must be paid in full again.
I understand that UNDERWATER ADVENTURES will not be held responsible for any of my personal belongings during the period of my course and it is recommended that jewelry is taken off during diving.

Dive Trips

When you book on to any dive trip you are then liable for the full cost fo the place on the trip and even if you do not take part in the trip for any reason, unless someone reasonable can be found to take your place, you must pay the full cost of your place on the trip on schedule with no exceptions.

All deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed by the owner of the club.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL

All equipment rented from Underwater Adventures should be paid for in advance and should be returned in the condition it was rented in. While all equipment is serviced equally, Underwater Adventures cannot be held responsible for a fault that develops while it is being used. should any fault be found the renter
should inform Underwater Adventures as soon as possible.

The renter is responsible for checking that the equipment is in good working order before accepting it, they are also responsible for making sure they are fully qualified to use the equipment they are renting and should never in any way mislead Underwater Adventures or their staff when renting the equipment as to there ability to use it safely.

When renting equipment from Underwater A
dventures the renter will be asked to fill in a rental agreement form before renting any equipment.
