Terms & Conditions
dive courses
A minimum of 4 weeks notice is required for cancellation or any change in dates, otherwise full payment For your course will be lost or you will be liable for the full course fee.
• Any change in course dates will result in an administration fee for each and every change made and unless otherwise agreed. I understand I must complete my course in full within 180 days of the course date or be liable for additional administration fees.
• If open ended dates have been selected for this course; the course dates must be booked within 12 months from date of invoice. Refunds are not due on open ended dates after 28 days from date of invoice.
• If the weather or any other circumstance beyond the control of UNDERWATER ADVENTURES causes the course to be delayed, changed or cancelled, no liability can be accepted by UNDERWATER AVENTURES for consequential loss, damage or expense Incurred.
• Candidates using equipment loaned to them by UNDERWATER ADVENTURES and/or its instructors are financially liable for the cost of a new replacement item(s) if mentioned items are not returned in the same condition as they were borrowed or if they are lost.
• Candidates using their own diving equipment must inform the course instructor who will decide if it is suitable.
• UNDERWATER ADVENTURES or its employees cannot be held responsible for damage to equipment or injury caused by your negligence or otherwise.
• I understand reasonable time will be allocated to my training; however, if additional training is required to reach my certification level I understand that I will be financially liable for this additional instruction.
• I understand that my course is performance based and that if I do not reach a standard considered acceptable to my instructors I will fail my course and will still be liable for the full course fee. If I wish to repeat the course I will have to pay the course fee unless otherwise agreed.
• I understand that if not enough participants are found for my course, the dates may be changed. UNDERWATER ADVENTURES will not be held responsible for any additional expense this may cause.
• I understand that my course may be re-scheduled without refund of deposit if knowledge reviews are not completed prior to course start date and that any re-scheduled courses must be paid in full again.
• I understand that UNDERWATER ADVENTURES will not be held responsible for any of my personal belongings during the period of my course and it is recommended that jewellery be taken off during diving.
equipment rental
All equipment rented from underwater adventures should be paid for in advance and should be returned in the condition it was rented in. while all equipment is serviced regually, underwater adventures cannot be held responsible for a fault which develops while it is being used. should any fault be found the rentor should inform underwater adventures as soon as possible.
The rentor is responsible for checking that the equipment is in good working order before excepting it, they are also responsible for making sure they are fully qualified to use the equipment they are renting and should never in anyway mislead underwater adventures or there staff when renting the equipment as to there ablity to use it safely.
When renting equipment from underwater adventures the rentor will be asked to fill in a rental agreement form before renting any ewuipment.

DIVE CLUB MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
As a member of the Underwater Adventures Diving Club I agree to follow the terms and condition as stated below. I understand that if I fail to follow the terms and condition set out below I may have my membership of the underwater adventures diving club terminated and the removal of all the benefits that membership provides. I agree to pay the membership fee of £6.50 every month, or a one off yearly payment of £89 on time and keep my membership for at least one year.
If I cancel the standing order of £6.50 before the full years payment has been made I will be liable for any outstanding balance and I understand that underwater adventures may take legal action to recover any money outstanding if I do not make the payment for the full amount within one month of my cancelling my membership.
I agree that the standing order I set up will be kept going for at least one year and will keep going until I or the company cancel my membership.
I agree not to cancel my membership without giving at least 2 months’ notice of my intention to cancel my membership in writing to the dive club, and I understand that I will be liable for the two months payment if I do not give full notice and I understand that the underwater adventures company may use legal means to force me to pay this money.
I agree that has a member of the underwater adventures dive club I will only dive within my training limits and will take all precautions possible to dive safely and not to put myself and others in to situations that may put them or myself at the risk of injury or death.
I agree as a member of the underwater adventures dive club I will keep my diving equipment in good
working order and to keep myself in a healthily and safe diving condition and that if I do not I will not be allowed to dive with the club.
I understand that places on trips my fill quickly and that I may not always be able to take the trips I want and that this is not the fault of the underwater adventures dive club and that they will always try and issue spaces on trips on a first come first serve basis and that has a member I will have the same chance as every other member.
I understand that the servicing and air fill pick up may not always be available and that due to conditions beyond the control of the company sometimes this service maybe cancelled at sort or no notice.
I understand that all the services and offers available to me as a member of the dive club maybe removed or changed at any time and without notice. I also understand the any special offers made available to me as a member or as a customer of the company may be removed or changed it any time and without any notice.
I understand that scuba diving can be a dangerous activity and I will not hold the underwater adventures diving club or the underwater adventures company responsible for any injuries or accidents no matter how serious they are and I agree the club or the company will not be held liable for any damage to myself or any of my property at any point of my association with the club and the company.
I agree to use the offers and benefits made available to me by my membership only to a reasonable amount and will not use any of my discounts to purchase any goods and/or services for other people. I understand that my membership belongs to me and cannot be transferred or used by any other person and that my membership will be removed with immediate effect should this be found to have happened.
I agree that has a member of the underwater adventures diving club I will conduct myself in a good and honest manor at all time and with all other people I may meet through or as part of my membership of the club.
