PADI Drysuit Diver
If you want to see the spectacular and prolific aquatic life often found in colder water you'll want to stay warm and that means a dry suit. But, you want to be trained in proper techniques and this is where PADI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course comes in.
This course is designed to be an introduction to dry suit diving and to help the student diver develop the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary for dry suit diving
What is involved
You will learn how to don and doff a drysuit with the aid of a buddy.
Perform a buoyancy check whilst wearing your drysuit and perform a controlled descent without the aid of a descent line.
Achieve neutral buoyancy by hovering for at least 60 seconds whilst near the bottom Remove and replace your scuba unit and weight belt at the surface Disconnect and reconnect your low pressure inflator hose underwater. When best to use dry suits, the types of dry suits available, dry suit accessories, their maintenance and how to make minor repairs.
Pre-requisites
Your must be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Junior Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organisation.
