Emergency First Response

The padi emergency first response is an internationally recognized first aid course and contains the most effective and up to date methods of first aid, including CPR and basic life support. This course is for divers and non-divers alike and maybe one day, you could save a life.

A lot of divers gain the Emergency First Response certification to meet program prerequisites, such as PADI Rescue Diver, or as preparation for becoming a PADI Divemaster. Most have also found the EFR program to be important in day to day life. They have taken significant steps in their preparation of emergency response, and feel confident that they can provide care should an emergency situation arise

What is involved

Emergency First ResponseFirst aid is a great skill for anyone involved in adventure sports. You will need these skills for the PADI Rescue Diver course so don't hesitate. Emergency First Response is a PADI affiliate that specializes in teaching these lifesaving skills, and this course is for anyone, not just divers.

 

Pre-requisites

No diving experience necessary
Minimum age: 15 (12 for Junior Divers)
Able to swim 200 meters non-stop any style
Able to tread water for 10 minutes
