Padi Underwater Digital Photography
Would you like to show your friends and family what you see on your underwater adventures? Then this course is for you. We will teach you how to get the best out of your own digital camera so that you can take great detailed pictures of what you see while you are scuba diving.
The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course is a two-part course (Level One and Level Two) are an introduction to digital underwater photography centered around today's compact digital cameras. The course helps student divers develop the knowledge, skills and practical techniques necessary to obtain excellent photographs with a digital camera, even on their first photo dive.
What is involved
Level One:
Equipment needed to take great underwater photographs
How to prepare underwater photo systems
Basic underwater photo techniques while diving in an environmentally friendly manner
Level Two:
File formats resolution settings
Making images lighter and darker
Getting good colour
Composing photographs
Downloading photographs to computers and adjusting them to look their best
Pre-requisites
You must be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver
PADI Junior Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organisation or be a snorkeler
Be 10 years of age or older
