What is involved
The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the most popular diving course in the world. During this course you will learn all the skills needed to dive confidently to a maximum depth of 18 meters and experience the underwater world.
Earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification is just the beginning. As a certified diver, fabulous dive destinations, exciting people, unparalleled adventure and uncommon tranquillity await you. And, as you continue your adventure and gain experience through higher training levels, your opportunities will expand. In this course you will receives your padi manual and dive tables and in your own time you will read through the books and complete the quizzes and start to understand the basic of diving, you will also receive a phone number on which you can contact a padi professional who will talk you through any problems you have or parts of the books you don't understand. When you are ready an instructor will call round to you and go over the quizzes with you and arrange to start your confined and open water dives.
Pre-requisites
No diving experience necessary
Minimum age: 15 (12 for Junior Divers)
Able to swim 200 meters non-stop any style (no time limit)
Able to tread water for 10 minutes
